Sad but true. Only 13 A T A shooters showed up Sunday

    Weather was great

Our prices are in line with other clubs

We have two more A T A SHOOTS scheduled and we need more shooters if we
    Will continue o shoot A T A

    We need suggestions or advice?

Please give us suggestions. Other officers suggest no more A T A. We are one of the
oldest trap shooting clubs in Ohio & I do not want o give up A T A

I was one of the 13 shooters there Sunday. You are right about excellent shooting conditions. No wind or rain. This was only the second time I attended your shoot in the last 3 years so my first thought was not to say anything, but on the other hand, I would like to help you if I can.

    So I'm offering two suggestions/opinions:

    1. Each time I shot at your club, I shot my lowest score of the year. Maybe it's just me, but it would probably be easy for you to check some of your regular shooters and compare their scores at your club to their average at other clubs. If you see a definite trend, maybe the target setting process, at your club, should be evaluated. Please don't take this wrong, I'm only trying to help and I know shooters like to shoot where they break the best scores.

    2. You said your price is comparable to others in the area, but please consider the cost and benefits from the shooters perspective. For example; at Jaqua's the targets are 26.00, but often times you have a chance to win a prize by class or yardage group. At Williams Co., the targets are 19.00 and you have a chance to win prizes by class and yardage group. If you offer no benefits for class or yardage groups, the new shooters, or less qualified shooters, have to always compete against the top shooters and they lose interest quickly.

Again, let me say, these are my suggestions, because you asked, and I too, would like to see Fostoria keep shooing ATA.

    Best Regards,
    Harry

Thanks Harry. I will pass these on to the SPS team.

We know Harry bigger clubs always have prize $ & that is something we have to look at

We did re set all 4 traps a year ago with the help of Ron P & his machines. Speed angles etc
We will see if he will come again & check our traps

    Thanks again for your suggestions

    Clair. Thanks Gleen

We did take suggestions last yea & placed the ad in the average book

Plus we try to get results in the paper

    Looking for more suggestions

I know some clubs use volunteer members to run their shoots. We did not have good results when
    we tried that

Several suggestions we had was stop A T A shoots & go to meat/money shoots BUT we are one of
the oldest A T A CLUBS in OH & do not want to give that up!

    Still seeking suggestions

We have two A T A shoos left this year

    Thanks

Suggestion was o put up purse $, a gun or something like that to the top gun

Good idea. No sure what we can come up with but thinking

Two yeas ago we did try giving free 100 free targets on the Mother's Day shoot----that brought
several new shooters bu we lost $ as not enough shooters showed up!

    Thanks

We have two A T A shoos left this year

We will continue to shoot A T A hoping to make some positive changes
    & hoping to get more A T A shooters

One A T A shooter suggested we need to change the back ground of the site targets
as it seems hard to pick up he targets quickly Not very easy for us o do at our
Location with C R P ground & a large factory building within view

    Please keep the suggestions coming

    Thanks
