Could anyone advise me the name, contact info, and where the closest trap and or skeet club is from Fort Myers Florida?
I will be there Saturday and Sunday, would like to shoot, but am unable to locate a club in the area.

    Thanks, Jim

Jim, I shot with a shooter that lived on the southern edge of town there a few weeks ago. He shoot with me at Markham Park in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. on the east coast. Its about a one hour and 20 minute drive from there. Its a nice place to shoot. He also said he shoots at a place one hour or so drive to the north at Port of the Isles, around the Tampa area. Thoughs are the only ones that I know of in that area. Sorry nothing closer. Good Luck and Break-em all. Jeff

Sarasota gun club to the norht of you at exit 195 off of I75, depending on where you get on you can figure the milage. As you get off the interstate head east at the bottom of the ramp you will turn left at the Hesss gas station and go back a couple of miles on knights trail rd.
Port of the Ilses is about 11-14mile east of the 951-US41 intersection on Us 41 on the norht side of the road. both clubs have great people and its about $8.00 for non members to shoot a round of trap. Sarasota trap club has a pistol/rifle range adjasent to their club but it is not associated with the trap and skeet. YOu could make a fine day of shooting all disciplens. Farther east on I75 about 2hrs is Markham park Mixer can give you more info on tha than I.

If you are driving as far as Tampa, you might as well go the extra 20 miles and see Mike Batista at the Silver Dollar. Nice club. We had a nice visit and it is the site of the Southern Grand.

Port of the Islands East of Naples is a decent place to shoot.

Thank you all for the information. I have certainly found that ts.com is a great place to go when you need info like this.

I will probably be asking this same question about other areas in the future.

    Thanks again, Jim
