Wayne county prosecutor is looking at Kwame's dine and dash issue for sentencing guidelines as well. Nothing like running up a big lunch bill and tell the Detroit Athletic Club to "charge it to the city", what balls.

Unfortunately for Detroit Jer, the corruption goes back through Young's time. Kwame was just too stupid to get caught. If ever there was a case where liberalism does not work, Detroit and Chicago are shining examples. I hope better days are coming for all that live in SE Michigan.

He also spent $396,000 on "travel expenses" last year according to a Detroit radio station. Limos, lunches, spas, etc. etc. Houston was one of his fav. getaways for soem reason. Isn't Detroit in a budget crunch?

If it had been any of us, we would have gone directly from court to jail when convicted of a felony. He got to delay going to jail so he could go to Texas (or wherever) and pray for a few weeks. PBS!

Man 4 hours later and his sentencing is over. Kwame thought he could get away with his political funds, but the judge got them as well. 7 503c4 "political" non-profit organizations and they are going to monitor the funds and take monies to pay for his 1 million dollar restitution. ha ha... he thought his money was buried... You should have seen the look on his face when the judge said that. The smirk he had through out the sentencing was gone in a heart beat.

Bye Bye Kwame... see you in a 100 days.
