Just curious as to what most of you say. I've always been under the impression that a forearm is a human body part and a forend is a shotgun/rifle part.

Beretta and Remington call them "fore end". Good enough for me as they are the only shotguns of interest to me.

    Forearm on a 2 piece stock...forend on a 1 piece as I understand it.

Your're right, a forearm is a body part...a fore end is part of a gun, no matter what the configuration. Martinpicker

I did some searching on this. So far i have found that Remington, Beretta and Browning all list "Forearm Iron" under their parts. Brownell's and Midwest Gunworks also refer to it as "Forearm Iron". Just say'n..............

Update: Perazzi namely Giacomo, refers to it as a "Forend". What do they know? :)

Forearm...but what do I know...Heck, I sometimes use the wrong word to describe someone with very dark skin.
