    Don't bet on that halfmile. We have a fella at our club that I have seen shoot a 25 straight on skeet, all from the hip just like the guy in the video.
    Seen him shoot a ton of 23 & 24 also. Got me, I miss enough trying the normal way. Colonel

    Colonel,

    I know what you mean!

    My first round of skeet was shot in the company of an ex military competition skeet shooter. He had a Frigon 4 barrel set and proceeded to break all 25 with the 28ga barrels and all from the hip. It was amazing.

    My first round was a few birds less. I think maybe 14, but that may be generous.

    Well, I have no problem with the 23 & 24, but not from the hip. But the second round is usually where one slips away. Then of course one more (for attitude) goes.

    Hi Guys, I remember watching a video of Matt Dryke shooting skeet...Olympic skeet...from the hip...with a pump action...on a UNICYCLE. I don't care how easy TS'ers think skeet is...that's amazing.The guy in this video was smoking them up pretty good too anyways. Cheers-Graham.

    Pretty much everyone at the Silver Dollar knows Charlie Tyler. He shoots both Skeet and Trap from the hip, though I have never seen him shoot Handicap that way.

    Sometimes he shoots Trap with a 410 tube in his Seitz. From the hip, that is. I haven't seen him get them all that way, but he doesn't miss many.

    What?! No behind the back shots on Low 8? I had a guy show me how to hit those like that when I was about 14...36 yrs later can still do it. Give it a try PapCharlie...easy once you get the right sight picture.

    (missed some) I suggest you try a round of that "boring" game known as Skeet. Try shooting 100 of each gauge 12-20-28-410, and then 100 doubles, I'm sure your views will change. After 20 rounds, let us know if you broke a straight round of 25?

    I heard mention earlier of an alternative to PayPal, know as "Gunpal". Anybody tried it yet?

    As far as a Trap Shooter demeaning Skeet as "no challenge", I refer to Job chapter 38, verse 2;

    "Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?"

    See how long it takes to get your first 25, let alone your first 100. LOL
