1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Browning BT-99 "Leo's Plus". The specifications are written on the box and the box is pictured below. I bought the gun from the original owner who bought it from Leo Cerar at the Grand in (I think)1993. Test fired only.
Full feather crotch that is as pretty on one side as it is on the other. All hand engraved and signed by the artist. I'm proud to offer this gun for sale.
With box, papers, hang tag, chokes, and a brand new case. $2850.00 + freight from Virginia.

    For Sale-The Most Beautiful BT-99

I remember going to his shop, and seeing 10 or 12 of these in the rack.

    That's a beautiful '99.

    Good luck with the sale.

    .

You're right. That is the most beautiful BT-99 I have ever seen.

    .

Not familiar with that recoil and pad system.

What can you tell us about that.

    LOP ?

    Gentlemen,

Thank you for your kind words and for your interest. I am proud to say that the gun is sold.

Hammer, to answer your question, the recoil system was developed by Browning early in the BT-99 years. It is spring loaded for cushion/tension and adjustable for both LOP and tilt. Browning used it on the "Citori Plus" gun which has been very popular over the years. In fact(and I won't mention any names)one of the finest young shooters in this country uses a Citori Plus with that system and I was fortunate enough to have been the person who sold him the gun.

    All the best,
    Kit

Up until a few minutes ago I thought my BT99 was the most beautiful (eye of the beholder and all that, ya know). Well, I sure stand corrected! The new owner is a very fortunate individual.

I sold this gun back in April. I hope this thread will shed light on the questions raised by the other "Leo" thread running currently.
