Lotsa snow? We got close to 6" total in the two worst days but most melting off now. That's not supposed to happen in the sunny, liberal Willamette Valley, eh? Nice looking mod. 12 - Gettin' too old to think about it though. This will move you up at least....Bob Dodd

That is on the release trigger, that was purchased at a later date that the gun. There is a trigger shoe on the trigger and adjustable set that comes from the back side of the trigger guard. It is removeable if so desired. ben

According to the handy-dandy chart I ran off from some website, guns numbered 161xxxx - 165xxxx were manufactured in 1957.

Tis one looks like a real sweetie.

It is and I wish that I could shoot it. I have been shooting Perazzi to long and can't get us to the flatter shooting Model 12. Ben

I thought it was factory wood, with the exception of the soft adjustable, Jack West comb. I got this gun from Jack West on a trade several years ago. Ben

Anyone that has spent any time with a Winchester Model-12 would know it is not factory wood . But it is nice wood and really don,t hurt the value of the gun .
