1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    For Sale Perazzi MX-8 Combo.

Serial Number 443xx. All matching numbers, barrels, forearm irons, receiver and triggers. Marked Ithaca Import

34” Top single (.740 bore) with 3 Briley Thin Wall choke tubes, .705, .715 and .725. This barrel has its own complete forearm

32” Over/Under barrels, bore .735 and choked .715 and .703. This barrel has its own complete forearm

There are two complete trigger groups, a top first and a bottom first.

The wood has been professionally refinished and re-checkered and shows very little if any wear. The LOP is 14 ¼” with the ¾” pad and 14 ½” with the 1” pad. There is a “Clyde Slide” recoil device with and adjustable soft comb in the butt stock.

Phillip’s Gunsmithing went completely through this trapgun rebuilding everything and he reblued the receiver, both forearm irons and both triggers. The O/U barrels have very good bluing and there is some freckling of the bluing on the single barrel.

$5500.00 including hard case, shipping and insurance to your FFL holder.

    Jim,

You have a very nice gun especially considering it's age.

What can I say Joe, I like old guns. My doubles gun is a Ljutic Bi-Gun that was made in the 50's.

Here is a couple of pictures of two that I got back today from Phillip's Gunsmithing. The one on top is a 1927-8 5-E and the lower one is a 1949 4-E two barrel set. Both have Miller release triggers and they will be shooting targets later this week.

    Joe

There is a guy that I met when I was 12 at the gun club, he is almost 90 now. He will be shooting the E-5 tomorrow and I will shoot the E-4. The first I ever saw him he was shooting an E-4 and all I could say to myself was,"someday I'm going to get one of those".

If he can't make it tomorrow Joe, I'll call you.

Here you go Birdtracker. When I was over at the Ljutic plant a few months ago I had Jimmy Ljutic reset and adjust the double release triggers. He said that the gun was made in the mid 50's and was one of the first 5 or 6 O/Uer’s ever built by his dad. The trigger does not drop out it is on rails and after removing the stock it slides out. In the first photo you can see that there is a screw not a pin that holds in the trigger.
