1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

This is a good price and a great loader for the mechanically inclined. Good luck.

They list for $1100, and the case feeder makes it "come alive".

    Stokinpls,

Curious why the comment regarding having to be mechanically inclined.SL-900 are a piece of cake to adjust IF necessary.

I am not particularly good with mechanical things. Probably because I get impatient.

But the SL900 is not mechanically challenging, at least to me. Sure there's a learning curve, but once you understand how it works, it's pretty simple. Parts are free if something should break and taking whatever is broken off and putting a new one on is easy.

    Patmiles and SS1,

I love mine, but anyone buying one for the first time should know that it has a lot of adjustable functions on it, unlike, say a MEC 600. Being adjustable, you need to learn the effect of making those adjustments. The manual is very helpful, but we've had more than one owner write about giving up on the SL900, so there must be at least a fair learning curve.

I wouldn't trade my SL900 for anything. If I remember correctly, it was easier for me to start out on than my 9000G. In fact, though it was used, the SL900 worked "right out of the box". Sorry if I offended anyone.

I've cut way back on my shooting, and mine mostly sits idle now. At one time when I was shooting a lot I considered getting a second SL 900 so I could leave one set for one ounce loads and the second set for 1 1/8. Then common sense kicked in - it takes less than ten minutes to change over, including changing the shot and powder charges, and draining an refilling the shot and powder reservoirs. There was no real need for a second machine.

I would not trade mine for any other reloader out there, and that includes a Spolar.

the best loader for someone who likes to try different loads or wants to make a shell to exact data not what a bushing or shot bar will throw. very fast and clean will not drop shot or powder without a hull in place . I know I have two and have the heads for 20 and 28 gauge
