1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For Sale is a 34” 870 barrel marked TRAP. It is in good USED shape It is not without conditions. But not bad for it's age. To me it does not need rebluing. There is some thinning of the blue from mounting, under the forearm. I thought I would offer it before selling it on EBAY. If you are interested please P/M me. 275.00 Shipping would be 10.00 bucks or so . If it is over I will pick it up. It will ship by USPS.

Not really a bad price but the TRAP/ONLY may be a little off putting. Seriously, is this a Remington or Hastings barrel? Choke constriction?

It's a factory Remington barrel. They made them in Trap only, Target only and a Duck and Goose version. I have one that is marked with just "Full" on it. They are great barrels that crush targets. This is a good price on this barrel.

I rechecked the barrel It clearly says REMINGTON and FULL on the opposite side from the TRAP only. I don't have a way to measure the choke constriction but Kuhnhausen's book says .695 with .35 constriction. In the late 70's I was hunting some lumber co. land next to a colonial farm that I did not have permission to hunt on. Long story short, my 30 " barrel would not reach the high flyers going to roost. This barrel hit them like bricks on a stack of clays.
