I hae right now but they have not run for years 400, 390 and 360 Ford engines. I have to do something with them soon. If no one buys them then I will just scrap them. Hate to do so but I have to do something.

I'm too young to technically qualify but i did manage 10. Some i got were easily ID by block color, distributer location, and valve covers. I've worked on my fair share of engines for my age. Fun quiz. Studebaker's and some of the Ford's kicked my butt.

yup..without splitting hairs it had no real chamber area in the head..mostly in the piston...my dad in his misguided youth put another weird dinosaur engine..the old 401 nailhead Buick with a 3spd into a Henry J..it had 6 1bbl carbs on a neat old Edelbrock manifold and those clamshell intake screens..and a narrowed rear out of an Olds 88.

Who ever put that quiz together did a nice job. I think a Caddy motor with aftermarket valve covers would have tripped up a few folks TG

That was fun. Missed 4 but some had to go by color and where dist. was located.
also was never much of a ford fan. Don't think you can tell chev 348 from a 409 can you? Bill

they are identical externally Bill..without number checking ..if its a single 4bbl ...the only multi carb 348 had 3-2bbls...the multi carb 409's were setup with 2-4bbls...they were go or blow motors,..they either ran like scalded cats or you brought them home in a bucket after sweeping them up off the street if you were racing them
