If I remember the Constitution correctly, any treaty must be ratified by the Senate before taking effect. Good luck getting a gun ban treaty through the Senate. Even when there were 60 Democrats/Independents, far fewer than that would vote for a gun ban, and it takes 60 to pass a cloture motion.

Although I'm sure he'd very much like to take our guns, International treaties don't trump the foundation laws of the United States Constitution. We need to be ever vigil but this is not news.

It's similar to the treaty our former VP and village idiot, Al Gore, sign in the Kyoto Accords. Meaningless, but we need to keep our eyes on the bastard for he will try to come up with some other way to screw us.

Our government and Bill of Rights could be suspended overnight.....Once the UN moves in our deal is off.

Does anyone remember the year of the child, where the UN tried to coerce the US into signing the rights of the child????? Clinton had the sense not to.

The UN is actively politicking to ban the private ownership of firearms on the planet.

Just research the steps required to the "ONE WORLD ORDER"......There is no allowance provided for the right to bear arms.

It's basically out of Hitler's playbook

The health care bill was the first step. In other words if we can get this to pass then we can then go after the guns. It passed and now they want to go after the guns.

What is strange is that the US Govt. is the world's leader in numbers of arms exported for war.

Yeah We can trust Sorros -I just saw on TV how Bill Clinton said he wasnt going to accept a nomination for supreme court judge-Well friends that says it all= Who would even think about Slick Willy as a super judge?? Every day im surprised that there in no real outrage, that a statment like that should just be in a byline on Fox news. The shame is that when we act like sheep,We will be treated as sheep.Lets admit this is about more then guns, its about our leaders thinking they know whats good for us, that we somehow are ignorant, not just about government but about our own welfare and that of other thing things.

If you have never written you political Rep.or Senator dont complain. But now is the time to voice your views.
