Can anyone recommend someone to bore and thread a barrel that is currently a fixed full choke so that it will take choke tubes. How expensive is it and is it going to pattern good. I'm thinking of having an 1100 barrel done.
    Thanks
    Rick

Probably cheaper to just buy another barrel for that gun.

Much cheaper to purchase a good used barrel w/remchokes.

Briley's is the best. Probably about $180.00

A factory REmChoke bbl. will be heavier than what you've got.

Briley, Wrights or Angleport for choke tubes.

Consider buying a Hastings High Rib Trap barrel instead.

Another vote for the Hastings high rib trap barrel, the best performing 1100 barrel I've had including several step rib originals. I know the old step ribs are very good and loved but thats my experience.
