Anyone had any experience putting the Graco Adjustable Butt Plate and Pad on themselves. I'm thinking about purchasing one and cant decide if I want to try putting it on myself or have it factory installed. I have an extensive woodworking shop to work with so do you think it would be worth a try??
    Thanks

I have had many installed and would use greg Hissem. If you mess up your wood, you will wish you had spent the 80 or so dollars having a pro do it.Hope this helps, Roy

Not a big deal, just screw it on the stock scribe aound the butt with a knife, remove it, band saw off the bulk, disc or belt sand to the scribe line, buff the edges and reinstall. Remember to allow for toe angle and don't let it get too hot when sanding.
