This thread brings back some memories. Dick Bennett (now deceased) previous owner of the Boxhorn's gun club in Muskego Wisconsin once told me a story that one day he took his car into a local car dealership for service. As he was walking to the waiting area he often stopped and spoke to one of the members of his gun club who just happened to be a car salesman at this same dealership.

On that particular day, this salesman had a blond woman sitting in front of his desk as she was wearing a yellow dress with pearls around her neck along with what looked like a pill box type hat. She also was wearing nylons along with high heels.

Dick did not want to interrupt the salesman friend so when he noticed the salesman saw him he waived to him. Suddenly Dick was summoned over to his desk when the salesman said to Dick that we have a mutual friend sitting here. Dick walked over and could not believe his eyes as the person sitting at the desk was a long time great in Wisconsin shooting sports.

Dick told me he had never been so shocked in his life. This individual shot numerous straights through out the years and was very well known. He never came to any gun club wearing women's clothing but afterwards he felt more comfortable dressing this particular way and could sometimes be seen walking through area malls in this fashion.

In the past, this same individual gave me shooting lessons. All I will say is that he is one hell of a shooter. Obviously, I will not give out his name but you never know who you are actually shooting with? Regardless how he dressed, he is a very nice individual.

Actually I know of such a person for real trans-gender. He/she did have several 100x100's registered on both sides of the fence. Its kind of a cruel but the commonly used pronoun was 'lost a pair'.

I shot in a miserable 22 degrees and heavy winds on Sunday! Thankfully it is back up in the mid-60's today here in Virginia!
