What year did 1 1/8oz shells become mandated?

I have been on three 124 teams. I was hung once out of those. No 125's yet.

A couple of weeks ago my squad had 124X125 on two different fields in the same 100 bird event. Same shooter missed both times (not me thankfully). He felt so bad we took mercy on him and said nothing. Marc

Though far from being a big dog, I have been in two 125X125 squads in my three years of shooting. The last one took place recently, and I was so absorbed by shooting that I didn't realize we were straight until the last 5 birds.

I can recall one from 1984 and have an engraved cup to prove it. I believe I'm the only one still alive from that squad!!
