I started shooting registered targets in 1978...broke my first (and so far only) 100 straight in 1993....slow on the uptake or a character flaw or something like that....

This is my 5th year of registered birds, I've been lucky enough to shoot one 100 in each of those first 4 years, still waiting to do it this target year. It'll happen the first time you find the zone. P.S.: Shot them with 3 different guns. 1st. Citori Trap, 2nd. 90T, 3rd. KS-5, 4th 90T, I'm working on my 5th with a Kolar.

I started registered in 1994 and my first 100 came on 4-18-98. The second came on 5-5-98. I had two kids and have not shot one since. It takes regular dedicated practice. My kids are old enough where I can get back into a regular routine. If you haven't, Keep trying! It is a great feeling to run em.

i shot a 100 straight in 1982, i think that's the year. one year i started out with 3 99's, missed the first target out on 2 of them, and the last target on the other. in my opinion, to get a 100 straight, you obviously have to have a good day, and a little luck. no wierd pulls, no wierd targets etc. i have had one 100 straight in about 30,000 rounds of shooting. i would have to say that 100 I HAD WAS A FLUKE.

I started shooting ATA targets in 1978 when I lived in SW MI. I broke a 99 there in 1979, but did not break 100 until the first time I shot in Pocatello in 1984, after almost 7000 registered singles. I broke my next one in 2002, also at Pocatello, after another 5000+ registered singles, my third in 2004, Pocatello, after another 4000+ registered singles, and my fourth in 2008, also Pocatello, after almost 10000 more registered singles. Obviously I don't break them often, and I shoot better at home than away.

Most shooters never reach the 100 straight goal.

starting shooting singles in July of 2007 had my first 100 on the 20th of August 2007... my first 500 registered singles targets went 96-95-96-96-100... had my first 100 in singles before I shot my first 25 straight from the 18 yard line. Just goes to show you how distance can screw with you.
