When I least expected it, I ran my first 25 straight targets this evening at Pocono Slate Belt Shooting Association, outside Bangor, PA.
Can't quite believe I held it together for those last five targets....my previous best was a 23, and those last two birds had my mind racing.

Now I can really understand what all the jubilation is about........ priceless !

Looking forward to many more to come....

Thanks to all who shared their ideas and advice here...it really has helped !

excellent. I have had 25 and 50 and 75 but never 100. It sure feels good and gives you lots of confidence. I ran 50 in a shoot-off last week and that just really made me feel good. However, I think I lost two pounds in water weight doing it. Good luck and keep your head down.

    Excellent.

The important thing to remember is that you didn't shoot 25 targets....you shot one target, 25 times.

If you can remember that there's only one bird, there's no reason that you can't break them all every time!

And, when you figure out how to do that, let me know! LOL

Congrats, and hope you get a lot more!

Good shooting! I hope somebody shot your hat. It should go on the shelf as your first trophy, and may you have many more.

Write down the date,club,25 strait in the bottom of the bill or wherever you can so you have your own trophy of this day. You'll never have another first 25. Let us know when you get the 50??? Last 25 straight that I had was when the Braves were still playing in Milwaukee.
    Good job.
