After 4 years of trap shooting I finally broke my first 100 straight in competition! I shot it in the second hundred of yesterday's Singles Class Championship. My 196 was good enough to get me into a three way shoot off that I won for C Class Champion. Yipeee! The monkey is off my back! Jim Pappas

GREAT shooting! And they say that you always have to hit them all for a trophy at a big shoot. Good shooting. Here's to many more in the future. John

Nice shooting, but perhaps you would like to share with us how someone who is a 27 yard HC and averaged 95.18 in 2005 and 96.31 in 2006 is shooting C class?

    Jim,

Congratulations on your 1st 100 straight. I am still working on mine so I can relate to how much it means to you. Hope you start shooting many more...

The first 100 straight that I had in the 16's was in C class championships at the grand in 1984 and i won it with a 197 well I did have a 100 in the short yardage handicap the year before but my highest score on the 16 was a 97 until I broke the 197 a year later and really I was trying my best but guess the 16's was to close for me and yanked and jerked at the birds up clos.

Anyway I just want to say good shooting and im sure it will be more often than in the past.
