DownRange DRRF8 is as good as the Remington if not better. It's all I use.

Nothing like the real thing unless DR is a lot better than it used to be. Jeff

Try claybuster wads. I'am on my third case of TGT replacements[#cb8100] They work great.I use STS hulls.700X and 1.125 oz shot. They also make a CB8118 wad as a replacement for the fig 8.

Those Gold Downrange are the ticket!

The kid shot 99 on Saturday with them... 19.5 gr of Green Dot, WW209 and Hard 8's in an STS hull. Nice, easy shooting load.

You might look online for Remington Fig8's. I saw them available at several places.

If you use any DR product & have problems don't expect much help from them. I had some problems, called DR & was basically told if I didn't like their product to use somebody else's switched to CBs &\or OEM, no more problems.Ross Puls

CB 8118, I don't think you'll notice any difference between them and Rem Fig8.

The Claybuster is longer. I could not get good crimps without crushing the side of the hull using the claybuster wad, STS hull and Green Dot. I switched to WAA12s. I would like to check the lengh of the Downrange Fig8 wad vs a Remington Fig8.

Thanks guys---I found the downrange hybrid 8s---a case of 5000 for $89.00 compared to the Rem fig 8s @ $113.95---I hope they work or I'll have a case just sitting around----Thanks to all for the info---I wonder if the $23.00 savings is worth it---I'll let you know----George@SJB
