Fern Creek shoots practice and games on Thursday nights. They have 4 fields, three with lights, and usually have a nice turnout.

If you shoot games, bring some porch loads. Typically, they shoot a 35 target bird race (10 from 16 and 25 from your ATA card. No ATA card and I think you shoot from 25 or more, based on known ability,

There is a calcutta on the bird race and the last "killer".

Practice is $5 per 25 targets.

    Ed,
I was wondering about the calcutta on may 15th. I am assuming from what you describe that 7 shot is ok? Is this shoot open to the public?
    Thanks,
    Mike

The May 15, 2010 shoot that you are referring to is the "Dixie 100" which will be shot on a Saturday.

    Note: Club Decision is Final

Note: There are no ammunition restrictions so my understanding is that 7's are legal. I like 7's at a longer distance. However, to me, Remington NP 27 71/2's are THE shell at 27 yards.

Bring your "A" game. This will be the third year for the Dixie 100 and, to my knowledge, there has not yet been a 100 straight.
