I load a lot but I have never tried to load any of these el cheapo hulls and would like to know if any of you folks have a good reciepe for a one ounce load in these things. Are they even loadable?I'm going to shoot them in my 391 for doubles and let them hit the ground.Am I just being to cheap? I just hate letting two of my green or gold hulls hit the ground. Thanks in advance......TONY

They load & shoot just fine.

They have a steel head and some loaders are persnickety about re-sizing Eurotrash, and some primers fit better than others.

But you'll be happy with how they work.

Gun Clubs are the best loading of the so-called "cheapo's" One piece hull and loads identically to the STS.
They last a long time too.

Federal 12S0 or 12S3 or a decent clone will work for wads. I'm assuming you are referring to the paper base wad and steel head wonders. They load just fine. You can use data intended for the Gold Medal Hulls as long as you are conservative. The loads "usually" will give slightly lower velocity in the cheapo hulls than in the Gold Medals. I use the Federal primer for the first loading and the Rio for the second, if there is one. The larger Rio primer will seal the basewad better on the second loading. They are tossed after two loadings. I use Promo or Red Dot powder. Around 18.3 grains for the one ounce with 12S0 and 18.7 grains for the 1 1/8 oz with the 12S3. They run out at around 1200 fps for either load over my chronograph.

    one oz: Fed 12S0, CB2100, CB6100, DR XXL-Orange

    1-1/8oz: Fed12C1, CB3118 & 6118, DRV-12 Versalite; Fed12S3, CB2118, DRF-3

You're not going to blow anybody up using FGM (or Fed Paper) data.
