Friend of mine just gave me two hundred once fired hulls. Can't find to many reloading loads for this hull so I though I'd ask.
I have both ClayDot and RedDot powder and Fiocchi and Win.209 primers to use.
Any proven 1 1/8oz. loads using this hull?

A great hull in it's time but tended to run high pressures unless the recommended wad, no longer available, was used. If you can find some of the old Champion II wads somewhere I'd give 'em a try-with the appropriate data!!

Use AA data, stay on the low end of pressures listed if you are nervous.

This was Federal's counter to the compression formed AA shell.

Nice shells, but the newer plastic compounds are physically better.

I used them for singles with AA one ounce data.

I have several thousand of those hulls. I found some loading data in an old book that I got off of ebay. I load some up from time to time, but they definitely put some punch into the shot. Nubs Wagner
