Went in a Charlotte area Walmart today, had the $4.77 Fed.Shell on the Shelves,I opened a box of 12 ga.Which was marked 2/34" 28 Gram #8 on the outside,The shells were marked 3-1-8,Top Gun,speed on the Box was 1250FPS!
Looks like Fed had a Packaging problem so they dumped them out to Walmart, all the 12 Ga.were about gone, wonder why,Dove season must start here this Sat.In NC!

Thought you might want to know!

    Is the box marked wrong?

    2 3/4" loads.

    28 gram is one ounce.

    3 dram.

According to the old Alliant manuals, 1 ounce, 3 Dr. Equiv. load is 1255 fps.

They shoot well, but recoil is more than 1 1/8 light loads, it seems to me.
