FED TOP GUN 3 DRAM?

    Have a chance to buy Fed Top Gun 3 dram 71/2 at a good price $42.00 w/tax never shot 3 drams before how are they from 27? How's the recoil? Thanks Jim C

    ....broke my first 100x100 from the 27 with them. Forgot handicap shells and had to get some at Wal Mart.

    Better take all you can at that price because they are going up again ... They are good shells and the recoil isn't bad at all ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

    They are the same shell as Estate, only diff. color case. I shot with the Fed. factory rep at Cardinal. They just change the case color and run'em. Unfortunately, the powder is not always the same batch.

    The powder is an OEM version of Green Dot. Each batch of OEM powder is different.

    GANDER MOUNTAIN GREEN BAY WISCONSIN.HAD A SALE AT $4.49 A BOX BECAUSE I BOUGHT SO MANY GAVE TO ME FOR $40.00-THEY STILL HAVE 50-60 FLATS AS OF TODAY.Thanks for the input-I bought 35 flats.Hope my wife thinks its ok. :)

    Setterman, I think the Fed. Rep. didn't know or was pulling your leg. There's more difference than color between Estate and Top Gun. The Estate has slightly more volume. Check for yourself.

    I've read in shootguns mag's that Estates have 6% antimony shot and the Top Guns only have 3% antimony. In my humble opinion the Estates are the best economy load on the market today.(they still smell funny) Break-em all. Jeff
