The "So who's been here before 2005?" brought back some memories.

    My favorites are:

    1. Grammie's "The Sky is Falling" rants.

    2. Robert Rogers' self-righteous sermons.

    3. Fat Pat the vest lady going beserk when her vests were criticized.

    4. Esterhaus needling GN7 until he went totally off his rocker...where he remains.

    5. Ace and his off-beat sense of humor.

    6. Rollin Oswald for years shamelessly pitching his little booklet.

    7. The guy trying to sell all the stock blanks....can't remember his name.

    Care to share yours?

    You are so predictable

Have you ever contributed anything of value here (or anywhere else)

You should really keep to bragging about the great military commander you are with all your legal training and how you have eaten tons of greasy chicken livers

By the way – does anyone in your local VFW know the stories you tell about military service?

    Regards from Iowa

Aprice- there is another thread about "Junior U boat commander"

Is that one of the military commands you are claiming?

My favorite memory on ts.com is, of course, the first time pheasantmaster posted a response to something that I had posted. We became friends and formed the 4 muskateers with 2 other people. All of us swore off marriage forever. LOL!

I was always amazed at Lumper's posts, and of course Tron really perfected his style during that time.

One of my favorites was the guy wanting to sell the used 870 Classic Trap for more than MSRP, then going nuts when he was told it was priced too high. If memory serves, I think he was asking $900 for it.

Ken, that was one of the all time classics. He was drug through the briar patch and then fed to the Pirhanas. I think that every poster on this forum rode him like a dime store pony that day. Too funny.

I have couple of classics that come to mind. One was "To guys like TRON". That was the guy from Texas who wanted to take me on over correcting his grammar. Then there was "Camo Benelli for sale". This guy was asking something like $300 over SRP and stated that he was FIRM on his price. I just couldn't resist that one and he came unglued when when I asked him how much it would be without all of the Camo. Man, that was a long time ago.

Of course the intial interaction between "recurvy" and I was the upmost.

On the downside at the other end was the guy that was going to kick my a$$ for something that I don't remember now. Shootlow probably does as we were to face off at the KS state shoot.

One of my favorites is when Foggy was telling about installing the cable TV service in the crawlspace with his buddy.

I'll never forget the time Tron stole a shooting sweater right from under my nose on my own WTB thread.

    Dear Mr. Krieghgoffkrusher,

I got out of bed this morning and fished through my drawer for something to wear on this chilly Michigan morning and what do you suppose I dug out? Your Skookum sweater. I slipped it over my cold, clammy, hairless chest and thought to myself with that sideways smile "this is the best damn sweater I've ever owned". Not to mention the price I paid for it. Sure, it's way too big for me being a size 46, but it gives me plenty of room to move about and it's VERY warm. Sometimes I'll fold it up and set it on my night stand and Kitty will curl up in a tight little ball and make a nest out of it.

    You snooze, you lose.

When a guy was telling everyone how to shoot doubles and being pretty adamant about his style. His average was looked up and it was 78. His response was "Well it works for me" I told him it evidently do not. Wow, did he lose his composure.
