Last night, TCM was airing "From here to Eternity" and I stayed up and watched it. All though I've seen that film a number of times it remains one of my favorites. If I watch a film and get a whiskey bottle out an start drinking with the characters it is a great movie. I did that with "From here to eternity". There are only a few movies I do that with: "From here to eternity" "The best years of our Life's", "Giant", and a couple of others.

I was wondering what movies get to the rest of you trapshooters?

After watching "The Kingdom" last night it has to be up there. They should show that movie in all our schools. DAILY!

Being a Civil War buff I would choose Gettysburg and Glory. But to fill out my movie appetite you couldn't leave out Platoon, Flight of the Intruder, Full Metal Jacket, Tombstone and of course A Few Good Men.

For all the movie buffs on here, there's a web site that will give you all the information on every movie made. It's called "International Movie Data Base" Click the link above and enjoy.
