Looking at Fausti Shotguns, thinking I need a Fausti DEA Upland 20 Ga.
    Anyone else have a suggestion.
Thought I might shoot a little Sporting Clay.

No one has any input on Fausti Shotguns, I suppose they will be at the ShotShow 2013. Will need to check out.

Bought a 28 gauge DEA S/S a couple of years ago. Ejectors
would not work right. Sent it back for repair. Waited approximately six weeks for parts. When they came in it wouldn't work with the new parts. They sent me another gun, it wouldn't work either. I sent it back and asked for my money back. After a month they sent my money back.

It was a beautiful small lightweight shotgun, I believe I paid around $3500.00 for it. Sorry it didn't work out.

I have a 12 gauge Fausti Sporting. It's a well made gun and far superior to anything else in the $1000 price range.

I have 2 Fausti SxS's in 28ga. One is a Weatherby and the other is a Fausti custom for Kevin's Fine Guns. They are both a gems with the Weatherby showing light engraving, very good fit and finish and beautiful balance. The Kevin's gun is outstanding in fit and finish with deep engraving that is beautiful.

Both of them have excellent barrel regulation, which is my number 1 requirement and both have excellent balance. They are true wands in your hands.

My only complaint is they both have "attorneys" trigger pulls. Each measures over 7 1/4pounds. I sent the Kevin's back to Fausti USA for their gunsmith to bring it down to 3 1/4 pounds. If he does it successfully, I will sent the Weathery to them.

Other than the trigger pull (which I rank 2nd in importance to barrel reg) I think they are fine guns.

The Fausti sisters are good enough looking that their guns could come without barrels and be a bargain.
