Went to a shoot on Sat-drove 170 miles to the shoot, out of the house 4:30 AM, shot 400+ targets, drove 80 miles to a motel for Sun shoot---didn't sleep worth a darn in the motel-tried to shoot a 200 singles event--half way thru the second event, ran out of steam---felt like I could barely lift the gun, much less swing it---getting old really stinks----what kind of training helps endurance, I'm almost 66---

Lou- One simple thing that will help both your endurance and shooting is to practice mounting your gun 10-20 times each morning. Most shooters are surprised by how they feel after only 10 gun mounts.
