That proves two things...my eyesight is pretty much shot and I'm way out dated. My last and most current Beretta is a 301 so anything past that is new age to this old codger...:)

Yep, but I had another in the closet. With the most awesome figured stock I've ever seen, from Fred's private stock. Will post pics of it soon. I still have the -as new- AL2 you sent me. I know that gun did not have a full box of shells shot through it! And the finest engraving of all the AL2's I have...

Great memories for you. I did that same thing a few years ago with my daughter at Mike Eckman's, which is not far from Ravenwood.

aussie dan--i will give you a lil advice that worked for me-- haul that son around with you every chance you get -even now when young---kids are like puppies, the more time you spend with them and talk to them -the better they will follow later! ----tabor and i are going today after church, to an old fashion "meat" shoot in papilion, ne--shooting games together and letting her win food to bring home is a blast!! that kind of shoot is a social thing---

-- big heap-- nice article-i'm gonna cut and paste it, thanks wally

thanks for the compliments-- on the last push for birds , the birds ran towards a field edge---dogs ran & pointed 4 or 5 times--finanlly all 3 dogs locked up, tabor and the guide had stayed with them for 50-75 yards--my friend greg and i were up on a pond dam watching--- the bird comes out just like a trap shoot straight away---tabor smoked it---personally, i got choked up!!! that was as good as seeing her run the the first 25 straight!!!
