The Clark County Shooting Park (now Range) will be hosting a Fall Trapshooting Tournament Sept 15 - 18, 2011, in Las Vegas, NV. This is the week following the Western Grand in Vernal, UT.

Will post a program online as soon as we receive it, but it will be similar to 2003 Las Vegas Fall Handicap Tournament held at former Las Vegas Gun Club.

Steve ... glad to see that the County wised up and put you back into harness!

Always enjoyed shooting at the LVGC and expect that the new place will live up to your standards!

Now I gotta see if I can make it to the Fall Shoot!

    Steve,

Lots of questions - but can wait for the program. Biggest question - can we stay where we want to - or do we have to stay at the host hotel?

More info- It appears the Santa Fe Hotel & Casino is going to offer us a rate of $39 on weeknights and $59 on weekends. We will have an 800 number and a reference code in a few days. This is a great rate, but you can stay anywhere you would like!

Karla, (and all other RVrs) call our Office Supervisor, Iris, for your RV Reservation. She is in the main office between 8am and 5pm pst. You can reach her at 702-455-2004. Rates are $20/night for full hook-ups, and the best view the City can offer. Iris can also be reached at ikikuchi@ClarkCountyNV.gov.

There is another 4 or 5 day shoot pending for October 20 - 23, but not finalized yet. The fellas that put on the LV1000 would be your hosts, and I'm sure do a great job for you.

Those traveling to Las Vegas from the Vernal Utah Shoot, just take exit 52 (Route 215) which is North of town by the Las Vegas Motor Speeday off of Interstae 15 and proceed to Decatur Blvd. and turn right and the Range is 4 miles North. Eze and no traffic hassles.

    Steve,
It is great to know that you are now the manager of the new shooting park. I always enjoyed the tournaments at the old park.

    Good Luck, Ernest Hooks.
