    Steve, what do you mean by no WWII rework, what did they do, refurb them and reissue them for WWII? How can you tell? I have the same 1911 that my 84 yr old Dad brought back from Europe, He found it in a German abandoned HQ as they were retreating! Yup, if it could only talk! (this one has plastic grips.)Frank C.

    Ahhhhhh, did some research, Mine is Parkerized I believe, so that would make it a WW2 rework!?

    so what's it worth? It is NOT for sale however!
