I have for sale an original Winchester Model 92 "Saddle Ring " carbine.
This gun has turned brown patina and there is some slight traces of blue left on the magazine tube. There isn't any rust or corrosion. The stock and forend are in excellant condition with lots of the original varnish showing. There are no cracks in the wood! The bore is PERFECT!!! The inside of the barrel is as bright and shiney as the day it was made. Incedible barrel!!! This gun is still tight. Nothing is loose. It appears to have been carried in a scabbard most of it's existence. Serial # range is: 7976XX. Anyways, the price is $1795. and pictures upon request. Thanks.

Sorry about that. What an idiot!!! The caliber is the BEST caliber in a 92.
It's 44-40, of course. Thanks for question.

I don't think soooooooooo! You better ask around. I believe that the 44-40
is the most sought after caliber in a Model 92 Winchester. Thanks for your input though.
