F/S TRANSIT?

    K&E are good transits. I've got a transit that I bought new in about 1971 or 72, but it's not a K&E. It's a slightly smaller transit and I THINK the name is Lietz (or something like that). I'd have to go dig it out of the closet to know for sure.

    I used to do some surveying too. I keep my transit, tripod, chain, and a box of surveying stuff just in case I may want to do it again. Never know when I may need to find a property corner for someone.

    K&E is an excellent transit. Of course, like L.C. Smiths, they made a bunch of
    models. None are junk, but some are better than others. Are you trying to sell it? I might be interested, particularly if you have the tripod too.
