1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I have a dumb question, what is the difference in a "Speed Lock" and a regular timney release trigger?

I believe back in the day there was an outfit that marketed a trigger for a Model 12 and others that was called a Speed D Lock, not to be confused with Timneys SpeedLock.

I believe the hammer set further forward in its stroke which was claimed to increase hammer speed. As I remember it also made the gun a single shot.

Anyone else remember such seeing the advertisements. I can still see the ads in my mind.

I don't know what version is pictured.

Some of you fellow oldtimers help me out.
A mind is a terrible thaning to lose!

    ed.
