We have here a like new T/C Contender third and last generation before the Encore took over. Selector switch for rim fire, center fire and safety located on top of hammer. It is set up in rifle configuration with Leupold rings and mount. Hammer spur included. The scope is Leupold 3X9 Vari-X II. The caliber is Rem. 223. I can vouch for this gun as I am the one that sold it to him new. It is as close to 100% as possible without being new. Maybe 75 rounds thru it. A very, very small mark on the wood but you would have to hunt for it. Softcase included. Have scope box but not Contender box. $650 total package shipped and insured to your FFL. Or, will sell Contender first with rings and mount for $450 and then the scope. I am listing this for my son-in-law. Contact Dave at XXdndharbaugh@comcast.netXX...(drop the XXs) for more info or call his cell 916.367.3823. For more pics use my addie noted at top of post.

    rooferbob,

    Breaking it down:
    T/C Frame w/ rifle stock about $300
Barrel about $230 (will interchange with G2 frame)
    Leupold scope about $300 (Cabelas)
Leupold scope mounts and rings about $50
    Hammer spur about $20
    Soft case - your guess

All not counting tax or ship charges.

    Hope this helps.

    Bernie

Some have had a few questions: Yes, this can be converted into a pistol configuration. Take the forearm and buttstock off...remove the barrel pin under the forearm and remove the barrel. Add a pistol grip and your choice of pistol barrel with a pistol forearm and you are good to go. Also, the trigger has a allen set screw to adjust for creep, travel and poundage pull.
