1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Damn! If you sell these guns at these prices, you should be retiring early or at least improve your life style! Tom Rhoads

That's a really nice piece. That does look like a 6" as opposed to a 6 1/2" barrel.

Here's some good info. out of the Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson, 2006, 3rd Edition. In 1979, the 6" barrel was introduced as the standard barrel length when the 6 1/2" barrel was dropped.

Opinions vary, but the 6 1/2" is usually more desirable for collectors and enthusiasts; however, the 6" is more scarce.

Sold a 4in. 29-2 W/wood case in about 90-95% condition for $850 last week at a gunshow. Maybe a little too cheap huh?

On the bright side, about the only handgun ammo I find available at my local Gander Mountain and Fleet Farm stores is the .44 Magnum. All other shelves are empty. Ammo availability should help sell this today.
