1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

*SOLD* Since our run and gun match days are over,(hubby had 2 knee replacements), we are going to sell some of our competition guns. We thought we would offer them on trapshooters.com first, even though they aren't trap related.
For sale is hubby's Ruger stainless 10/22 .22 LR Match Rifle with a new, in the package, Ruger factory magazine. (I am not ready to sell mine yet). Volquartzen 20" stainless competition match barrel. Cantilever scope mount. Fajen laminated thumbhole stock, which isn't perfect, has some finishing flaws, but no scratches or dings. We had a trigger job with a stop added. We don't know the trigger pull weight, but it is light with no creep.
He used this rifle for the Sportsman's Team Challenge National Competition which required extreme accuracy out to 100 yards.

SAFETY NOTE: The chamber on this rifle is very tight making it necessary to fire the last chambered round instead of manually ejecting it by working the bolt by hand. Always check for empty chamber before leaving firing line!

$500.00 Shipped, including insurance, to your FFL.

We accept major credit cards. Personal checks will be accepted, however, rifle will not be shipped until check clears bank.

Contact with any questions. Thank you!

The rifle really liked Winchester high velocity (not hyper-velocity which was not legal for the team challenge competition)solids and their silhouette loads which shot a bit heavier bullet designed to knock down steel targets. That was the goal and purpose of that rifle.

Ruger 10-22s are bad about leaving a round in the chamber if you try to extract it manually. Very dangerous gun in that regard. Very accurate gun for the money. I have a couple with match chambers that you have to check carefully.

A friend our ours shot the team challenge match back when it was still held at Markham Park @ Lauderdale. He was a Grand Master IPSC/USPSA shooter and very experienced with gun handling....especially the safety aspect. After he finished the rifle stage, went through the gun clearing routine for the Range Officer, he went back to his car with the cased 10/22. Later he discovered a round left in the chamber accidentally. I remember how upset he was with himself after thinking what could have happened back at the hotel or other locations. It really made me aware of checking these after market 10/22 match barrels. Now the barrel on Sue's match rifle does not have this problem but it's not from the same maker as mine.
