1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    NTSM: 34" for sure?

Must be some kind of goose barrel or something. I've never seen a trap bbl that long on an 870.

Made by Remington themselves? If they made a 34" target bbl then hopefully they were also smart enough to include a downward sloping rib so the POI isn't as dead-flat as normal 870s (TB, TC included.

I've owned a 34" barrel for the 870, and one for the 1100. Both factory Remington. They bring big bucks b/c of their relative rarity. There is a 34" 1100 duck/goose barrel on ebay right now sitting @ $315 w/ half a day to go, it will be nearer to $400 than $300 before the auction is over.

Here it is, sorry the pictures aren't the best. The barrel is not marked target. I have owned 3 different ones and have had one marked "Target", one marked "Duck and Goose Only" and this one that only has the choke marking and the normal 2 3/4 only. Remington made them in 32,36's as well. It's not a hastings.

Remington once made a few 34 in. trap barrels. They were factory target barrels and today they are in high demand "IF" you can find them, usually selling for more a regular trap barrel. Hastings makes a somewhat duplicate barrel using Hastings chokes in a 34 in. barrel
