1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    Remington 700 Classic

    Chambered 300 Sav.

PT&G replacement bolt shroud/firing pin assembly

I bought the rifle about 2 years back NIB. The box has since been destroyed but I still have the owners manual. It has been fired 35 times. Never been hunted, only shot from the bench. I installed a PT&G bolt shroud and firing pin assembly to replace the J-lock (OEM assembly included). Metal is 99%. Wood is in excellent condition with one small ding approx. 1" forward of the rear sling swivel (pictured). $750 shipped CONUS.

REDUCED to $585 and I'll throw in a set of rings/bases and a partial box of Remington factory rounds.

Can get pictures of anything else you want to see, just ask.

Great rifle for an old head. Brings back memories of vintage arms and ammunition.

The 300 Savage will do about what the 308 will do with good handloads. It will run a 150 gr bullet over 2750 with standard loads. Upping to 55,000+ PSI will get it in the realm of 308 territory, if needed.

Nice looking rifle! If I didn't have a 700 BDL in .308 I'd be all over this! Best Wishes, FIB
