1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Hello, A Neighbor of mine called and told me she was wanting to sell her dad's trap gun, So I went and looked at it and it's an older looking Pietro Beretta trap special single shot, has a low vent rib and some scroll work on it. There's two screws on the left side of the barrel back near the reciever, not sure if they were standard or not. Again, selling this for a neighbor. She said she would like to get $500 dollars out of it, no less. I'll have to go over tomorrow and get some pictures of it for you to look at. Email me if you are interested in the gun. Thanks!

    Mark 3's are worth 500.

TR-1's are not. If the gun opens with a little lever in front of the trigger guard it is a TR-1.

Just the messanger. Asking the sellers price, had no idea of the history or value of the gun.

A mint unfired TR-1 in the current blue book is $275 in the condition shown , maybe $100 . An FS-1 is less. And I am not interested in it. Jeff

This gun shows up from time to time here, and always the worth seems to be overstated. this gun was also marketed as the Galef "Companion" it would fold in half and could be stuck in a backpack.

I am not sure Beretta even made this one.

Sorry, the good one is a Mark 2, not a mk 3, just had the name wrong. this was just like the BL series, and a nice heavy gun with a super great choke.

I have one of those but mine only says Trap Special on it no Beretta on it anywhere. It has a monte carlo stock and shoots 95% high pattern.

Shot my first 25 with it. I would not sell it for $100 it is a nice beginner trap gun.

I think it was imported by Galef, Mine will not fold in half like the companion.

The Companion had a hole in the forend that accomodated the trigger guard and release lever. I don't know if there were different engravings.
