1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

Works great. Is 4 way but not in the more conventional way...pegs are eccentric, which allows comb to move 4 ways. Stock needs some re-shaping on one side, checkering could be re-pointed and stock needs to be refinished. Small crack at trigger but has been professionally fixed. $250 plus shipping. Includes all hardware and Kick-EEz pad. LOP around 14 1/2. Nice grain.

    PM if interested.

Will fit any MX series w/drop out trigger

Bud, you know, I'm not sure. But it came off a type 4.

I think they do interchange...maybe someone who knows will chime in.

Type III & type IV refer to forend attachment only.

Butt stock inlet was affected by the current top lever trip positions, it happened years after type IV update. Many type IV guns still have said trip at 12 O'clock, therefore they don't have the current cut out at the top right side.

Here's a picture showing the differences. You can modify it.

This stock will not work on an MX3 if it is for an MX12.

If it fits on a MX3, it should fit any rounded receiver model. If it's not a rounded model, it should fit on a MX3 special model.

The MX12 and MX5 are fixed trigger group guns. The mx3 has a drop out trigger. It will not work with both. It is either for a fixed trigger or a drop out trigger gun.

    Ajax,

The MX3 Stock and a MX3 Special Stock are interchangeable and have nothing to do with round or square mono blocs. Both Receivers "MX3 and MX3 Sp. have a removable trigger and therefore will both work.

Rich, doesn't the front bottom of the stock kind of roll in on the MX 3 or 6 and the MX8 style stock stick out on the rounded model guns?

Any MX8 stock will work. Round or square mono bloc as long as the trigger is removable from the receiver.

Only if you look carefully at the bottom of the receiver where it meets the wood, you'll notice the shape is different between square and round receiver (Exterior). But yes, they interchange if you don't mind the back corners of your MX-8 receiver sticking out a little from the edge of the MX-3 stock.

Stock fits on my GA1 but metal sticks out a little on bottom. So I assume it's made to fit a MX rounded receiver with a removable trigger....RIGHT? Good source told me via PM that it fits MX 5 and 12 also. So that's wrong...RIGHT?

Yes, MX-5 stock will go on MX-12, but it'll look the same as MX-3 stock on GA1.

Thanks Steve, I was trying to get that point across but evidently I did not do a very good job.

I think people got confused about round monobloc and round receiver exterior.

Round monobloc is the barrel monobloc, it has nothing to do with stock.

Basically MX stocks only has detachable and non-detachable trigger models. But among the two, there're round and square shape exterior in both.

Round receiver exterior in both detachable & non-detachable trigger models are rounded at the bottom (exterior), it's stock will not cover the back corners of square receiver (exterior).
