1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

KS User - talked with owner. He stated that he did not have wood checkered. Pre 1964 models could be ordered from the factory with any pattern you wanted.
There was no standard pattern for all.

Janet, I'm looking for another set of wood for my model 12 but I think there is a communication issue between you and your friend on the price. Are you certain its 1150 dollars? Thankyou, Dan

    Janet,

I would be interested in the stock if your price gets a bit more realistic. That wood is worth about $250

Appears to be a Y forend and a late pre64 buttstock

I'm just following his instructions. Will pass your comments on to him. It doesn't hurt also to make an offer, if interested.

    Thanks for your comments.

Feel free to make offer if interested.

Janet, since the wood is not matching, is the owner willing to split the two?

I wasn't downing the wood at all.I have never seen that checkering pattern on a pre 64 model 12. I think seller has been given some false information on checkering patterns. Just my 2 cents.

The checkering on the forend is what came on the pre 64 Pigeon grade Model 12's and on the Y models it is factory pattern. Wood is still not priced what the market is paying. The guy that said 250.00 is way off also should bring 400-500 dollar$

I picked up an Anton Stock and forearm for $275.00 a couple of years ago and its did not have a mark on it ... Its on my wifes Model 12 and it sure looks pretty on there ... The stock is worth whatever someone will pay for it and that one is way over priced or it would of sold already ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
