Ok got a friend that want's to sell his old Model 12 solid ribbed gun he really hates to get rid of it but I think he could use the money better for his medical needs ok I pasted the info he wrote me below about the gun.

    <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank">[IMG]</a>

The gun is a 30" full choke solid rib. wood not crack no where.. Recoil pad is weak, over all I'd say the gun is 85 percent , with a few small place's on the metal thin or spot with blue, the slide has most of the blue thin, and the magazine tube bluing is a little thin. from where the actions been worked. THE serial Number match barrel and receiver. and are : 686xxx (6 digits) actually this is a very nice tight old model 12.. it has a red front bead and a small center bead also.

Ok some say it has been re-blued but not in the past 25 years since I have owned it, I'm sure of this.. I'm not sure if it has actually been reblued or not. but it is pretty nice gun

Ok shot a little trap with it before buying the break open gun.

Foggy, From the pics it appears to be reblued and the wood is obviously after market.

I just talked to Ray and he said it is what has been on the gun since he has had it for over 25 years but he said it was possible for it to have the corn cob type of wood on it back then so he isn't saying that it is the wood that came on the gun from the factory.

He told me it was ok to post his phone number on the thread he doesn't post on this site so if anyone is interested then you can call his home phone at (606) 633-8216 ,also his email address is at the top of this post.

    Thanks

    Foggy
