Listing for a friend who does not do computers. This is one of 29 Banana guns made and the only light weight one made. All internal parts are matching numbers marked #29. It is possibly the last Banana gun made serial # 1140. The mono frame was lightened by thinning the receiver and drilling some holes like in the LTX style guns. This gun is a barrel inside a larger barrel with a screw click stop under the outside barrel to the inside barrel to adjust the point of impact. Ljutics always were different the Space gun was proof of that. The inside barrel has the rings in the end of the barrel it has been gone threw and is crisp and tight the wood is very nice and the checkering is sharp and clean. The metal on the barrel is good and the frame shows the typical Ljutic wear and is thin from use and carrying. I would have Ljutic do their winter special and get it re-blued if that is a concern. It is a pull trigger and shoots great I just had to shoot it so I could say I shot one which I also did with a Space Gun. The asking price is 3450.00 OBO

    Thanks Adam,
I did not measure the barrel but will tomorrow but am pretty sure it is a 32 inch gun. I sure hope someone buys it soon so I can stop thinking about it myself.

    Sportshot,

The Banana gun was a Ljutic that changes the POI by warping the end of the barrel. The outer tube is the fixture and the inter tube is the actual barrel. The screw warps the barrel up or down to get the desired POI. Krieghoof did the exact same thing on the KS/X 5's and the pre-trap special K80's. The only difference is that the rib/hanger did the the warping.

The neat part of this design is that you can change your POI without changing your sight picture. No need for an adjustable comb.

It was a great idea and is a well made gun, but the one I mounted was heavy.

I don't know if Danny was being serious or a wiseguy, but I would like to know why its called a banana gun if anybody does know. First one I've seen and when they've been talked about before, I thought they were a variation of the spacegun. If you compare the grip on a spacegun w/ a babana clip there is at least a remote likeness!

    Dear Danny B

Is the B for Banana if so this gun must be for you.

I saw you shoot last Wednesday and you surly must know by now you need a change after that performance.

Why it is called a Banana gun I don't know I will have to call Ljutic to find out.

Banana guns were produced in Ljutic's Jamacan facility....a business venture that proved fruitless.

Dear OLD One Eye....The gun is indeed different....I also noticed in the first 2 pictures that the Gun appears to have a "bead" on the top as well as the bottom of the barrel. Could this be true? But my question today,,Old ONE eye ls.... When you shoot this gun...Do you use..ONE eye..or TWO? Thanking you in advance.

    Dear Danny B,

It is a little known secret but I shoot with both eyes closed. This is only possible because I'm related to one of the Shark species and have the ability to see threw my extra set of clear eye lids which are prescription also very very rare.

    PS:
I will speak to the owner of the Banana gun and see if I can get you financed or a lay away so you can send that Kolar out and get it converted to a right hand so I can show you how it should be shot!!

    Respectfully yours up,
    Buddy
