1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.
  2. Attention: We have put together a thread with tips and a tutorial video to help with using the new software. Please take a moment to check out the thread here: Trapshooters.com Tutorial & Help Video.

Carbon fiber is made to be light. Is the stock and forarm light? If so wouldnt it kick like a mule?

The Carbon Graphite Stocks are not made with Carbon Fiber. They are the same material as the other stocks. They are dipped with the carbon graphite pattern. I think its called Hydro graphics. Looks good.

    Thanks

    Hi!
I just bought an older 870 field gun from the late 50's-early 60's. It's in pretty nice shae for its age. I think I want to get one of the carbon fiber style stoc sets. Is there any kind of warranty that comes with these stocks? They seem like they would be near indestructable, but is there any problems with cracking or chipping, etc? I assume they are weather resistant? PM me if you wish. Thanks for your reply!

Can the forarm be used on an 870 Trap Competition(long forarm)? Can I get one of those adjustable Jones type recoil pads on it? My head is like a pumpkin with the eyes in the middle and they are still looking for my neck. How much material (approximately) can be removed under the comb to obtain right cast? Thanks.

ill take one. how much extra for the adjustable but plate / recoil pad upgrade?
also for anyone that knows; the "Washer" that is between the forearm and nut on my gun is bent/broke and the small dowel pin in it is cocked sideways. would i need to transfer any of these parts or does the forearm just slide on and screw the nut on?

Does anyone have an 1100 put together with the carbon graphite set? I wouldn’t mind seeing one completed.

I also wonder what the long term wear would be on a finish such as this. Could they be redone if they had to or would you just replace it?

I purchased a carbon graphite Jack West stock set from Richard to go on a, new to me, 1187 LH. I installed it today and it looks great, absolutely fits like a glove. I am going to use this gun to shoot skeet and sporting clays. Can't wait to try it out Saturday. Richard is great to do business with, everything was as promised. I had to post a few pics. Thanks again.
