1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Any chance jack could have a long forend added to the line?

not that i've seen. The only long 870 forends i've ever seen were on the last incarnation of the TC guns, and possibly the 870 Comp.

I always thought that it would be nice if they made a long forearm, but probably not enough demand to tool up for one.

Pheasant- Jack West doesn't make any beretta stocks, but Trapdude does.

Here's a pic from their website. I'm a dealer for Trapdude and can get these stocks, I don't have too much info on them, so contact me directly and I can get more info as well as pricing for those who are interested. There's some more pics here: http://trapdude.com/comb_stock.htm I BELIEVE these stocks are for the beretta 390, but I also believe the 390 and 391 stocks are interchangeable (some please let me know if this is correct or not).

The jack west stock are a parallel comb trap stock w/ 4 way adjustable comb. Guess the picture kinda came out strange.

Buffalo- No. The closest you'd get would be a Precision Fit Stock...

Probably depends on what kind of paint was put on. I did one myself w/ store bought spray paint, and was able to get it off with store bought paint stripper, but if its automotive paint, you'd probably have to sand it off.

FYI, just got pricing on the Trapdude stocks. They are $225, and that includeds a soft Gooey Comb, and Gooey Pad. Available in std length, as well as a "youth" setup w/ shorter LOP and tighter grip radius.

    Trapman,
Do you have any interest in trading your painted jack west for a wood set ?

Skeetman, does Trapdude also make that stock for an 1187? I don't like the new Jack West stock, I prefer his old checkered one. The Trapdude stock is checkered, but his website does not say what gun(s) the stock is for.

Sorry, the trapdude stocks are beretta only. They were (at least the youth stock) made by Jack West.

The "checkering" on the new one isn't that bad, I never found the checkering on the old one to have that much "grab" anyways.

Do the new ones have palm swells like the old ones?

It does have palm swells, but they are smaller than before.
