    Oh yea, I forgot for all you pistol fans. i took in a Wilson Tactical Elite, OD frame, 45acp, thats 95% with all DVD's, Clips and case. $200 plus $25 shipping to your FFL. Later.

    The 1100 Comp. model wholesales for just under $1300...WHOLESALE NOT RETAIL.

    1100 competition are great guns and unless you have shot one you can not understand how much they are worth the price they go for.
    They are not just a fancy colored 1100.

    Bernie ... you need to find a new wholesaler. Remington lists the 1100 Competition as an MSRP of $1492 for the standard comb and $1651 for the adjustable comb. I have yet to have seen one being sold for close to full retail and most are for sale around $1200 give or take a few $'s which I guess all are being sold at less than your close to $1300 wholesale.
