1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

this barrel is intersting- it has the older remington posts but has a changeable front hanger-- wonder if that was a refit--

the photo looks like it is deep engraving but then again one would have to have it in your hands

    Lots of variations

    regards from Iowa

Looks like Bill Mains inlays, possibly in a San Remo, new style top latch, not from s/n 950, early 60's gun

The trigger guard was done by Bill Mains but not the gun. I don't know who did the gun or if it is even an early factory variant. The back ground behind the birds looks very much like some early San Remos I have handled. The pictures don't do it justice and I'll attempt to get better shots of the engraving. Also, A few have asked about barrel exchange possibilities. The gun has had K80 barrels fitted to it in the past including an unsingle and a set of 34" O/U barrels that have since been sold but there will be no problem fitting K80 barrels if you so desire. Thanks again for the interest.
