1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I have some interest, but wondering about POI and the weight. My daughter (12 years old) is currently shooting a little Franchi AL48 20 gauge. She helped pay for it, and is so proud of "Her Franchi". Would like to move her into a 12 gauge, but keep some low recoil and weight.

    Thanks,
    Jim

I appreciate interest. But I would recommend buying either a 1100 or 390 for your daughter this gun is heavy around 9lbs also they are hard to find chokes and parts for. Tom Reichert
PS POI for me is about 70/30

I am impressed by trapman69's honesty and integrity while trying to sell this gun. His comments about parts being hard/impossible to find are spot on. Marc

I also appreciate you being honest and letting me know it might not be best. She is set on having to get another Franchi since she started with one. Guess she has started some brand loyalty. I shot a Franchi 2003 Trap combo for a while, but kind of hate to buy any of the Franchi trap combos as I am afraid parts may be an issue as well.

    Thanks again for your openness.

Just let your daughter know that Franchi is owned and operated by the Beretta Company then maybe you can sway her towards a Beretta

Thanks for comments. Like anyone I like to sell my stuff. BUT I like to feel good about a sale. I think all the franchi's are hard to find parts for there out there but you have to look hard. That being said price has been lowered to bottom dollar that will take it. $525 shipped to your ffl. Thanks Tom R

Remember them when they first appeared, 1976 or 7.

One of, if not the best handling S. auto. ever made. (my opinion)

Too bad the parts are not readily available.

    Regards....Gerald
